Fair Chance Projects

The ONE will help to achieve a balance and equality in the education of the classes. Figures published by The Conservatives in Dec 2007 show that the gap in the educational performance between pupils in the 10 per cent richest and poorest areas of the UK was 20 percentage points, and widening.

The Fair Chance Projects will form the basis of the 1 per hundred sold, charitable donations by Elonex. These laptops will go to under-privileged children from disadvantaged areas to help close the gap in the educational performance between children from low income households and their peers.

Elonex will work closely with the NLI to review each proposed Fair Chance Project and the first donations will be in place by the start of the new school year 2008. For more information on the NLI click here and to suggest you school as a Fair Chance Project email here
